Cantami o Dea RPG | Bloodlines Art

For the RPG manual "Cantami o Dea," I illustrated the "spawn" (or bloodlines) —playable races descended from Greek myths like harpies, gorgons, and sirens. I chose a raw, gritty line style to reflect their status as outcasts, contrasted with soft watercolor tones to evoke their poetic, folkloric origins.
The manual will debut at Play! 2026 (Italy, Bologna).

Siren spawn resemble harpies but favor seabird traits, often possessing webbed limbs for swimming. Unlike harpies, they are defined by their signature melodic voices.

Harpy spawn feature raptor-like eyes, thick claws, and feathers on their extremities. They can grow wings for short glides, and their eyes and feathers are highly prized for rituals believed to ward off death and the evil eye.

Gorgon spawn lack petrification abilities but can easily intimidate foes. They possess viper-like eyes and distinctive serpentine hair strands that move independently alongside human hair. Often feared as witches, they are widely viewed as omens of death.
